多亏一个新的Linux内核补丁，Intel Linux图形驱动在超频Intel图形核心时表现更佳了。

当Intel的Ben Widawsky完成了DRM驱动的内核补丁时，代号是Sandy Bridge以及更新的图形内核存在了几个月的内核驱动漏洞终于被校正。目前在drm-intel-nightly中的这个补丁可能进入稳定的内核系列，在它的帮助下，超频能够正常工作。如果没有这个补丁，Linux下的Intel Turbo将不被支持。

英文原文： You Can Now Overclock Your Intel GPU Under Linux

The Intel Linux graphics driver should now work better when overclocking your Intel graphics core thanks to a new Linux kernel patch. 

With a kernel patch done by Intel's Ben Widawsky to their DRM driver, a correction was made for Sandy Bridge and newer (Ivy Bridge, Haswell, etc) graphics cores to take care of a kernel driver bug that has been around for several months. With this patch that's now found in drm-intel-nightly and may make its way to stable kernel series, overclocking should work. Without the patch, Intel Turbo support is broken under Linux.
