ANTI-MALWARE   Malwarebytes This is my preferred anti-spyware program at this time Ad-Aware (download.com) This is another favorite but is a large download SpyBot (download.com)   HiJackThis Good for cleaning out startup programs, among other things Stinger Self-contained, but limited, antivirus program (no install required) FileDelete This is a script I created to quickly delete files from certain locations. I use it clean temp directories from all profiles prior to running anti-malware programs so they run faster since they do not have to deal with the extra files. *** Only tested on Win 2000 and XP *** AVG Antivirus One of the better free antivirus programs

REGISTRY CLEANERS   RegMech4 This is my preferred anti-spyware program at this time RegScrubXP This is another favorite but is a large download Reg Lookup Files Zip file with multiple scripts to open certain registry locations
