Install check_mk OMD package on CentOS 6.5

yum -y install time traceroute boost-program-options dialog fping graphviz graphviz-gd httpd libevent libmcrypt libtool-ltdl mod_fcgid mysql-server net-snmp net-snmp-utils pango patch perl-Net-SNMP php php-mbstring php-pdo php-gd rsync uuid xinetd xorg-x11-server-Xvfb python-ldap radiusclient-ng

rpm -ivh omd-1.20.rhel6.x86_64.rpm

omd create prod
su - prod
omd start
http://mysite/prod/
username/password: omdadmin/omd

using check_mk GUI:

1. Installing the Check_MK Agent on your monitoring server
2. Create New Host

fix icinga web problem:
cd /opt/omd/sites/prod/tmp/icinga/
cp nagios.cfg icinga.cf
chmod 664 icinga.cfg

rrd files: /opt/omd/sites/prod/var/pnp4nagios/perfdata

on mysql client:
yum -y install xinetd
rpm -ivh check_mk-agent-1.2.4p5-1.noarch.rpm check_mk-agent-logwatch-1.2.4p5-1.noarch.rpm

cp /opt/omd/versions/1.20/share/check_mk/agents/plugins/mk_mysql /usr/lib/check_mk_agent/plugins/
chmod 755 /usr/lib/check_mk_agent/plugins/*

vi /etc/check_mk/mysql.cfg
[client]
# mysql root password
password=password

chmod 600 /etc/check_mk/mysql.cfg

service xinetd restart
