lesson6 -SSH FTP

1.sudo apt-get install ssh         download and install

make sure port 22 is open

2. connect to linux server

1)ifconfig    know linux server ip address

2)sudo ufw status     make sure firewall  down or port 22 is allow to access

3)use  putty.exe(windows client)  to connect to SSH server

3.FTP    vsftpd

1)sudo apt-get install vsftpd

2)sudo vim  /etc/vsftpd.cont   (textfile) make property

# means code dosenot exit  linux ignore code

local-enable = yes   allow people use service can download

write-enable = yes   people be allowed to write service can upload

3)sudo service vsftpd restart

                               stop

                                start

turn off the firewall or open the port to allow

4)use ftp client to connect   ( Filezilla mac)
