suse10sp2多路径multipath配置

先查看多路径是否启动
rcmultipathd status

未启动执行
rcmultipathd start

将如下服务设置为开机自动启动
chkconfig multipathd on
chkconfig boot.multipath on

使用如下命令生成多路径设备
multipath -ll

如果看到了多路径设备数量与LUN数量不符,需按照如下步骤操作:
1、重新扫描LUN设备
rescan-scsi-bus.sh
2、重新生成多路径设备
multipath -F
multipath -v2
3、再查看多路径设备是否与LUN数量相符
multipath -ll
4、如还是不符,执行如下步骤
通过HBA卡扫描底层物理设备
echo 1 > /sys/class/fc_host/host1/issue_lip
echo 1 > /sys/class/fc_host/host2/issue_lip
通过SCSI扫描SCSI设备
echo "- - -" > /sys/class/scsi_host/host1/scan
echo "- - -" > /sys/class/scsi_host/host2/scan
重新生成多路径设备
multipath -F
multipath -v2
查看设备与LUN数量是否相符
multipath -ll
5、如还是不符,需重启操作系统
reboot


etc/sysconfig/kernel
原来为:
INITRD_MODULES="mptsas processor thermal fan reiserfs edd bnx2 e1000 e1000e tg3 usbhid usbcore uhci_hcd ehci_hcd"
修改为:
INITRD_MODULES="mptsas processor thermal fan reiserfs edd bnx2 e1000 e1000e tg3 usbhid usbcore uhci_hcd ehci_hcd scsi_dh_rdac"


修改配置文件中的wwid和alias对应关系:
vi /etc/multipath.conf

defaults {
    polling_interval    30

重新生成多路径设备
multipath -F
multipath -v2

查看多路径设备信息
multipath -ll

修改lvm扫描配置
vi /etc/lvm/lvm.conf
    # By default we accept every block device except udev names:
    #filter = [ "r|/dev/.*/by-path/.*|", "r|/dev/.*/by-id/.*|", "a/.*/" ]
    filter = [ "a|/dev/mapper/mpath*|", "r|.*|"]

如果是SUSE10sp2,需要执行:
kpartx -a /dev/mapper/mpathe
SUSE11不需要。


创建VG:

pvcreate /dev/mapper/mpatha
vgcreate sftpvg /dev/mapper/mpatha
