If you are using a mouse that has a middle button, you will like this little app. Quick Access Popupis a free tool that lets you open a folder with a simple and quick middle mouse click. No need to fire up File Explore and navigate to the folder you are looking for with multiple clicks.
The tool is available in both portable and installer format, which work exactly in the same way. You can try out the portable version but if you like to tool and are going to stick with it works better with the installer version. Once it’s running, it sits quietly in the system tray, using very little system usage without getting in your way.
The Quick Access Menu can be engaged in two ways, either in a mouse middle click or throughWin + W keyboard shortcut. Both can be customized in Options menu from Settings if either of the opening options has been occupied by other applications.
Note that you can also use Shift + Middle Mouse Click / Shift + Win + W to launch the alternative Quick Access menu.
You can also customize every single entry in the main Quick Access menu by going to Settingsand using Add/Edit/Remove options.
If you have folders that you need to access frequently, instead of creating the shortcuts on your desktop, you can use Add This Folder… option to add these folders to the Quick Access menu. Simply navigate to the folder in File Explorer and engage Quick Access menu and choose Add This Folder…
