Where to get bmap-tool

Get it from here,select the system you want then download and unzip it
How to use it

Precondition: A bootable USB and copy bmap to it
Boot up device with the USB disk
Using local image,download the image and .bmap files from daily release,using command below
./bmap-tool copy --bmap Path_to_XXX.bmap Path_to_XXX.sdb.raw.bz2 /dev/sdX (X is the device id like sda,sdd)
Using remote image URL
./bmap-tool copy Url_path_to_image-sdb.raw.bz2 /dev/sdX
Using dd

uncompress the image file:
bunzip2 -k ivi-XXXX.raw.bz2>
It should be ivi-XXXX.raw file for dd installation.
Boot from USB

plugin the USB stick to the host machine
umount the USB stick if the USB is auto mounted:
umount /dev/sdXX ---umount all the USB stick partitions
install image to USB disk:
dd if=ivi-XXXX.raw of=/dev/sdX
make data sync
unplug the USB stick from the host machine
insert the USB stick to IVI board. power on IVI device and press ‘Del’ to access BIOS menu, change Boot Priority to make it boot from the removable USB stick, then press "Enter" to boot image from USB disk.
Install system to HD

Prepare a bootable USB stick(with linux OS burned e.g.Tizen or MeeGo image)
Copy the IVI image ivi-XXXX.raw.bz2 to the USB stick
Insert the USB stick into IVI board
Press ‘Del’ to access BIOS menu, change Boot Priority to make it boot from the removable USB stick
Live boot into the system in USB(e.g. Tizen or MeeGo)
Launch terminal or switch to console in live boot env, login as root
Check the disk partition by “fdisk –l”. You should see some information about /dev/sda, /dev/sdb. On Crossville platform, you could get inforamtion about eMMC stick: /dev/mmcblk0.
When /dev/sda is the loaction where you will install Tizen image, and /dev/sdb is the USB stick now boot in.
umount /dev/sda
install image to local HD:
dd if=ivi-XXXX.raw of=/dev/sda
make data sync with USB and HD
The Tizen image has been installed to HD, remove USB stick, you could boot to the system installed in HD.
Install System to eMMC

For the Crossville platform, When eMMC is the location where you will install Tizen image,and /dev/sdb is the USB stick now boot in. check the eMMC name:
fdisk -l
umount all the eMMC partitions:
umount /dev/mmcblk0pX
copy image to eMMC:
dd if=ivi-XXXX.raw of=/dev/mmcblk0
make data sync with eMMC and USB.
The Tizen image has been installed to eMMC on Crossville, remove USB stick, you could boot to the system installed in eMMC.
