    IBM alphaWorks 宣布，发布 AJAX Toolkit Framework 。去网站了解了一下:-)，把ATF配置完毕，可怜我只有512RAM，要求是1024RAM

A technology that assists in constructing Eclipse framework support for AJAX Toolkits and provides enhanced DHTML/Javascript IDE features for <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 /><place w:st="on"><city w:st="on">AJAX</city></place> developers

2.What is AJAX Toolkit Framework?
AJAX Toolkit Framework (ATF) provides extensible tools for building IDEs for the many different <city w:st="on"><place w:st="on">AJAX</place></city> (asynchronous JavaScript and XML) run-time environments (such as Dojo, Zimbra, etc.). This technology also contains features for developing, debugging, and testing <city w:st="on"><place w:st="on">AJAX</place></city> applications. The framework provides enhanced JavaScript editing features such as edit-time syntax checking; an embedded Mozilla Web browser; an embedded DOM browser; and an embedded JavaScript debugger.
An additional and unique aspect of the framework is the Personality Builder function, which assists in the construction of IDE features for arbitrary <place w:st="on"><city w:st="on">AJAX</city></place> run-time frameworks and thus adds to the supported set of run-time environments in the ATF.

4.Installation instructions for AJAX Toolkit Framework
This initial release of the AJAX Toolkit Framework is packaged as an Eclipse Update Site. Installation is a two-part process. ① Installing ATF:  
Download the AJAX Toolkit Framework (ATF.zip) file.

Open Eclipse and go to Help -> Software Updates... -> Find and Install....
Select Search for new features to install and click on Next.
Click on New Archived Site... and choose ATF.zip in the file selector.
Make sure ATF.zip is checked in the list and click on Finish. (Note: There are a total of eight feature packages to be installed.)
Installing XULRunner and registering it with your operating system
Download the appropriate XULRunner package for your operating system at http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/xulrunner/releases/<chsdate w:st="on" isrocdate="False" islunardate="False" day="30" month="12" year="1899">1.8.0</chsdate>.1/.
Unpack the XULRunner package in a directory of your choice (for example, C:\XULRunner).
Change to the directory where the XULRunner executable file resides.
Register XULRunner by executing the following at the command line:
xulrunner --register-global
