LTE和5G 中的QCI

LTE的QCI

通常我们经常看到资料说LTE中共有9种不同的QCI。
在VOLTE业务中主要用到了QCI 1、QCI 2、QCI 5。
而普通的数据业务主要是QCI 8/9。IMS信令使用QCI 5，语音业务共使用QCI 1、QCI 5、QCI 8/9，视频电话业务共使用QCI 1、QCI 2、QCI 5、QCI 8/9。

但是出处在哪里呢？

最近查阅了文档。
在4G的NAS文档24301-c00（Non-Access-Stratum (NAS) protocol for Evolved Packet System (EPS); ） 中，论述 EPS quality of service的章节提到QCI在3GPP TS 23.203 （Policy and charging control architecture）协议中定义。我看的版本是e30.

定义

QoS class identifier (QCI): A scalar that is used as a reference to a specific packet forwarding behaviour (e.g. packet loss rate, packet delay budget) to be provided to a SDF. This may be implemented in the access network by the QCI referencing node specific parameters that control packet forwarding treatment (e.g. scheduling weights, admission thresholds, queue management thresholds, link layer protocol configuration, etc.), that have been pre-configured by the operator at a specific node(s) (e.g. eNodeB).

5G中的5QI

在5G中对应的概念是5QI（5G QoS Identifier）。TS24.501 Non-Access-Stratum (NAS) protocol for 5G System (5GS)协议中指出5QI 要参考3GPP TS 23.501 table 5.7.4-1。

在 23.503 (Policy and charging control framework for the 5G System (5GS); Stage 2 )协议中,Table 6.3.1: The PCC rule information in 5GC 指出5QI 和QCI是对应的概念。

5G QoS parameters,在TS 23.501 5.7.2节中论述。其中5.7.2.1论述5QI。
下面是 5G QoS Flow和 5G QoS Identifier的定义(TS23.501):

A QoS Flow ID (QFI) is used to identify a QoS Flow in the 5G System.The QFI may be dynamically assigned or may be equal to the 5QI.

NOTE 14: This 5QI is not supported as it is only used for transmission of V2X messages over MBMS bearers as defined in TS 23.285 [72].
