I'm using the Beijing time even though I am in the Eastern Standard Time zone for the Jianshu update now. Checking on my records for the daily update, I realize that I have just missed a day, the February 8, 2019. That was the day I traveled from China to the U.S..

Even though I did one during my transfer in Beijing Capital Airport, I still didn't make it since there was a delay on my last flight and I got home so late. And I should have read the rules carefully, too.

The system was probably using Beijing time to determine whether the updates were made on time. I was notified that a card of made up day had been automatically used against my missing day. And I can't mess up again within the next 6 days.

But after I have updated for today, February 10, 2019, I still haven't received any notice of completion for the update. This is kind of annoying. It's as if I'm playing a game. Once you are in, you wish to win. I probably have lost my daily update streak.

Now I have to remind myself about what is my true goal of being here everyday and writing those articles. I shouldn't be bothered with any distractions, including the activities of the daily update. So, soldier on, no matter what!
