Europe-Personal Statement

1 Purpose of travel

    I love reading after work. Two year ago I read a book《Hillier talks about world geography》written by Hillier, there is an article called "The kingdom of the high mountains" which is Switzerland. Switzerland has the Alps which are the largest mountains in Europe. The peaks are covered with snow all year round, the valleys are green, the cows graze sweetly, and bells jingle around their necks.What a beautiful picture and I want to walk in. Another article called "Boots country" is Italy. Venice, the city on the water, the only means of transportation is by boat, there is no sound of the car horn. I fancied I was sleeping when I heard the rustling of water outside. So since then traveling to Switzerland and Italy planted a seed in my heart.

    We plan to go to Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, Berne, Switzerland and Venice, Florence, Rome, Italy. My husband and I want to experience different cultures and natural landscapes from China.

2 Self-introduction

   I was born in a happy and harmonious family and both of my parents are teachers in a local primary school. I love them. Last year, I got married with my husband who was my college student. We have the same interest in travel, and we promised each other that we would go out  and see the world together once a year. And this year both of our company provide us the Marriage Leave, so we decided to go to Switzerland and Italy which is a wonderful start. 

3 About Expenses

    I graduated with a master's degree two and a half years ago. Now I am a software engineer of an famous Internet company in China which pays so well.  Most importantly, it makes me feel that I am a useful person to my country and I love my work. These years I have saved some money and  have enough money for my trip to Switzerland and Italy. My round-trip air ticket, Swiss Pass and all hotels during the trip has been paid.

    As the reasons above, I sincerely wish that you can fully consider my visa application. The purpose of my trip is tourism only. I will not seek any employment or residency in Switzerland, and will return to China before my visa expire.
