意：include something as a relevant element when making a conclusion.

例：In designing “one word a day” and  “a paragraph a week” , we have factored in the great challenges facing students.

Factor in:

Factor: 因素（n); 做动词时有个非常灵活的用法，factor  (something) in ，表示“将…考虑进去”。

当我们想表达“考虑到…”时，除了可以说 take something into consideration，或者 take something into account, 也可以用factor in.

例：when housing and other living costs are factored in, a monthly salary of ¥15000 in Beijing and Shanghai does not seem that handsome.
