运营商概述
总览 Overview
新西兰有三家移动网络运营商：Spark、Vodafone 和 2degrees。前两家运营商自 20 世纪 90 年代以来一直在新西兰开展运营，而 2degrees 直到 2009 年才进入市场。
Vodafone 和 2degrees 如今仍在运营 2G 网络，尽管这些网络仅限于提供物联网连接，如智能电表。
所有三家移动网络运营商都拥有全国性的网络覆盖。Vodafone 和 Spark 的网络覆盖了大约 98% 的人口；4G 网络覆盖了大约 94% 的人口，包含了城市和大多数农村地区。2degrees 在各大城镇拥有自建的网络基础设施，覆盖了 96% 以上的人口，4G 网络覆盖率超过 82%。2degrees 与 Vodafone 达成的国内漫游协议，使得 2degrees 在没有自建网络覆盖的地区也能依赖于 Vodafone 的设施提供服务。
三家移动网络运营商是新西兰唯一重要的移动运营商。虽然有少数虚拟运营商依靠转售提供服务，但没有一家拥有大量客户。虚拟运营商用户总数于 2016 年开始增长，但仍维持在 23000 左右，数量较低。Warehouse Mobile 是一家于 2015 年底开始运营的虚拟运营商，因其与 2degrees 存在密切关系，所以 Warehouse 的用户数将合并进 2degrees 旗下进行统计。
Skinny 是 Spark 旗下的独立品牌，而不是虚拟运营商，所以 Skinny 的数据将合并进 Spark 进行统计。它在 2012 年初便作为一个“青年”品牌开始运营，2013 年年底之前进行改造，以便更成功地将自己定位为一个经济低价品牌。2016 年 9 月，Skinny 推出了另一个仅在线运营的子品牌 “Skinny Direct”，卖点是低价大流量（流量包仅 $10 / GB）。

Free 3GB offer available to new Vodafone Prepay customers who sign on to My Flex before the 17th of August 2017. Free 3GB data lasts up to 90 days. You’ll need a smartphone and My Vodafone to get going and design your plan which has to consist of minutes, TXT and data totalling $11 or more. My Flex Prepay lasts 28 days and auto renews if you have enough credit. 3GB bonus is used in priority to your My Flex Prepay allowance. Data bonus will be applied within 72 hours of activation.

HOW DO I GET A 500MB BONUS FOR BEING UNDER 25?
Easy as. Once you’ve designed your plan and made your first top-up, you can confirm your age through Facebook. If you didn’t do it when you signed up, just log into My Vodafone at any time to get it done. When you view your plan, you’ll be given an option to confirm your age through Facebook.
If you don’t have Facebook, you can confirm your age by showing a valid Photo ID accepted in New Zealand (Passport, Student ID, Driver’s licence) which shows your photo, your full name and date of birth at any Vodafone store.
Once you’ve done either of these, you’ll get your first 500MB bonus immediately without needing to top up $20 or more

I’m already with Skinny Mobile. How do I switch to Skinny Direct?
You can sign up with Skinny Direct by downloading the Skinny Direct App or by going to www.skinnydirect.co.nz. During the sign up process you’ll need to:
- Choose to keep your current number and select Skinny from the list of providers
- Read and accept the Switching Terms and Conditions
- We’ll text you a verification code. Please enter it when asked.
Keep in mind that once you’ve switched to Skinny Direct you’ll have lost any remaining minutes, text, data or credit on your Skinny Mobile account. We don’t transfer them over as you can’t use them on Skinny Direct.
Once you’ve completed the sign up process we’ll automatically convert your Skinny Mobile SIM into Skinny Direct. This should typically take less than a minute after sign up. That’s it, you’re now a Skinny Direct customer.
