ESLPOD-LUCY's Day-Cleaning up and put on make-up
1.sink.n. is where you put water when you pour the water in order to clean. "tub".n.is a place you put water in when you take a bath. It is usually a piece of long box-like furniture in your bathroom. "toilet"is what you use when you go to the bathroom, when you get rid of things out of your body.
2.medicine cabinet. "cabinet"is sth that you use to put your things, say your bottles, toothbrush, medicine and so on, in your bathroom. A medicine cabinet usually has a mirror on the front, which is also its door, you can open the medicine cabinet and get your things out of it.
3.hairdryer.n. Lucy says "There's a room under the sink for our hairdryers and tampons." Here, hairdryer is a machine that you can use it to dry your hair and tampon is something that a women or girl use during their periods.
4.Rinse.v. Lucy says she starts out by rinsing her mouth with some mouthwash before flossing. The word "rinsing(rinse)" means clean by water.

5.Shampoo and conditioner. Lucy says she puts on a shower cap and has no time to get out her shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo is a liquid soap for your hair and conditioner is a liquid that you put on your hair after shampoo. After washing my hair, I also apply body wash(沐浴露) and body lotion(护体乳) to nourish my skin. -use run out....
6."I like to take bubble baths when I have time, but on a busy morning, a shower will have to do." The expression, "have to do", means it will be sufficient-it will be enough-it will be good enough. So, "a shower" will have be good enough.
7.Then she lathers up quickly and gives her legs a quick shave. To lather means to put liquid on your body-soap or shampoo or shaving cream and move it back and forth-mix it with water until you have bubbles that cover your skin.
8.make-up. Lucy just put on a little blush and light-coloured lipstick. Blush is a pink powder that women put on their cheeks(faces). Lipstick is a colour that you put on your lips. Women often put on red lipstick or light-coloured ones. Other common makeup product includes eye shadow, eye liner, makeup remover, mascara(睫毛膏) , facial cleanser(actually a skin care product)and sunblock.
9. curler/ˈkəːlə/, curler is a small piece of round plastic what women use to make their hair look better. They heat up the plastic and usually there's some mental they heat up, and they put it in their hair to make their hair curly.
