1. The government shutdown nearly ended after senate Democrats agreed to support a spending bill. That was an return for insurance from Republican leaders that will soon take up immigrants and budget issues. The senate voted 81 to 18 to break the Democratic filibuster which many Democrats also voting YES.
2. A 15-year-old girl injured in a shooting at Xxx high school in Texas. The girl was airlifted to Xxx hospital in Dallas following the shooting. The sheriff says the 16-year-old suspect fled after being confronted by a school district stuffer but was later arrested on school grounds.
3. Amazon opened its artificial intelligence powered Amazon Go store in downtown Seattle. The store allows shoppers to scan their smartphone with the Amazon go app, pick up the items they want and leave. The Amazon Go store adds to the company's drawing physical store presents and it's expansions into groceries.
4. The Philippine's most active volcano has exploded causing more than 27,000 villagers to flee to safety. The explosion was the most powerful since the volcano starting to active up more than a week ago. Authorities warned a hazardous eruption is possible within days.
