We are recruiting an Account Service Manager in our Beijing office, to provide full administrative support to the Managing Director and Sales Director in all phases of the sales process and manage the daily sales operations of the department in effective and efficient manner.

Responsibilities


In the role you would be expected to:


  • Provide administrativesupporttheGroup Managing Director andSales Director;

  • Manage new client acquisition process from target identification to arrangement of meetings at correct level;

  • Create, update and translate sales materials;

  • Developcreative materials;

  • Own the relationship between The Economist and Operations staff within clients and agencies such as accounts, traffic, voucher copies etc.;

  • Manage the implementation of client/agency events;

  • Use readership research, subscriber studies, audit statement to help build and enhance oursales story.


Qualifications


To succeed in the role you must have:


  • Degree in business, economics, international studies or languages (preferred)

  • Minimum two years'work experience in sales administrative support role

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint

  • Familiarity with the Internet, intranets, extranets

  • Fluency in English with native Mandarin


You will be able to demonstrate:


  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients

  • Excellent communication skills, organization and prioritization skills

  • Attention to details

  • Professional telephone manner

  • Ability to be a teamplayer
