Tip #1: Stay Present

STAY PRESENT

NO.1 DO NOT OVER FOUCS ON EVERY SINGLE WORD THEY'ER SAYING

• don't try to translate in your head what they're saying.
• soften your focus, pay attation not only to the words, but also the tone of their voice, to their facial expressions and their gestures
• becuase when we tune in too closely to the words, we strat to stress ourselves out and we lose the big picture, it's hard to follow what they are saying.

NO.2 NO NOT TRY TO MAKE YOUR RESPONSE TO WHAT THEY ARE SAYING WHILE THEY ARE STILL SPEAKING

• when you're creating a response in your head while they're speaking, you were missing a lot of what they're saying.
• instead, you have to leran to trust youself, trust that when they're done talking, that you'll come up with something.

and so that brings us the third way to stay present.

NO.3 THE PERFECTION ID THE ENEMY OF FLUENCY

• Because the more perfect you try to be, the more stressed out you 'll be
• when you're stressed out the places in your brain are actually shut down and these parts of brain are really helpful and necessay in communication.
• So stay relaxed and we're not trying to be perfect
• instead, we're just kind of trying to flow with it.

Tip #2: Make learning English a necessity

• when you are in a country that speaks the language that you are trying to learn, you learn it quickly because you have to learn it.
• It's necessary for you to catch the bus or for you to go grocery shopping. so you have to learn it.

there are few ways to do this

NO.1 if you can make a friend who only speaks English, maybe online.

NO.2 Go on youtube and look for anyting you want in English

• Anytime that you are looking for a recipe of something to cook, instead of Googling it or instead of looking for something in your own native language, why not go on Youtube and look for a recipe from English speaer.
• this way you have to listen to every detial that they say, and so you tune in more quickly, and you learn vocabulory more easily, becuase it's necessary for you to cook a meal.
  there is one other thing I want to say here

NO.3 Try English service when you are on the phone

• If you've ever been on the phone, you have the option to hear something in English or your native language. it's cool to choose the option in English and that makes you tune in.
• So make a commitment to use English for some of the thins that you have to do in your life will make a English necessity.

Tip #3: Movies, TV shows audible or audio books

• I'd loved to watch moives in your native language then watch it again in Egnlish without any subtitles
• this way is a really cool way to more easily to tune in to a native speaker.
• Beacause you already have the big idea of what's going on about the moive. you know the charactors in the plot you know what's happening
• so you can tune in to smaller details you will tune your ear, so that you can more easiler understand the new words
• another awsome thing that i loved to do while learning Spanish is that learn to audio book that I've already read in my own language.
• I was more easily to tune in to the small details it made me a better lisnter in Spanish.

Tip 4: listen to many accent.
