Thousands of people from all over the world have completed this course and used it to prototype solutions to real world problems. The one thing they tell us consistently is that** to be successful in this course, you have to allocate enough time to complete the assignments**. Human-centered design is an intensive process. To get the best results, you'll need to put in the work. We'll offer you the roadmap and the materials, but YOU need to step up as a leader on your Design Team. There are no shortcuts to building innovative solutions to complex social challenges, but the more you stick with this methodology, the stronger your creative problem solving muscles will become.

So, if you want to complete this course, use the materials below to help you form a team, plan your meetings and get prepared. If you've already taken a +Acumen course, you may not need to review these in detail and can just use them as a refresher. Once you feel prepared, move to the next page to start the course.

5. Earn a Statement of Accomplishment

Complete all 4 assignments by April 18th at 11:59 PST and you'll receive a Statement of Accomplishment from IDEO.org and +Acumen. For all team members to receive a Statement of Accomplishment, you all must be registered individually and as a team on the NovoEd Platform.
