aestivumwere identified in the global DNA databases by computationalanalysis.

Within the NF-Y family, two groups ofproteins, Dr1 (NC2β) and Drap1 (NC2α) are related to

NF-YB and NF-YC respectively.

Dr1 is a β-subunit of NC2, NC2, and ishighly homologous to NF-YB at the

amino acid level.
