Quotation     n. [贸易] 报价单;引用语;引证

A quotation is an offer to sell a good or service. 【跟读】  报价单是出售商品或服务的报价。

It should clearly state details of the price, quality, quantity, payment terms and incoterms.   它应该清楚地说明价格、质量、数量、付款方式和国际贸易术语解释通则的细节。

The foreign buyer might be unfamiliar with the details of the product they are purchasing.   外国买家可能不熟悉他们购买产品的细节。

So the description of the product in an overseas quotation normally includes more details than a democratic quotation.   所以海外报价对产品的描述通常比民主报价包含更多的细节。

pro-forma invoice   形式发票;估价发票

A  pro-forma invoice is an initial bill of sale provided by a supplier.   形式发票是供应商提供的初始销售单据。

It states the exact quantity of goods, their price, and specifications such as size and weight.  它说明了货物的确切数量、价格和规格,如大小和重量。

While it's subject to change, a pro-forma invoice is a good estimate of what the buyer will need to pay.  【填空】  虽然可能会有变化,但形式发票是对买方需要支付的金额的良好估计。

shipping advice   发货通知书

A shipping advice is a document sent by the seller to inform the buyer that the goods have been shipped.

It contains details such as information of carriers and expected time of arrival.  它包含承运人信息和预计到达时间等细节。

It is issued by the seller and is dispatched to the buyer within three days after the date of shipment.  由卖方出具,并在装船后三天内寄给买方。

Having the details of the shipment in advance allows the importer to arrange transport insurance under EXM, FOB, and CFR terms.

bill of lading [交] 提货单

A bill of lading is a document issued by a carrier that acts as a receipt of shipment when the goods are finally delivered.  提单是承运人签发的一种单据,在货物最终交付时作为货物的收据。

It contains the type and quantity of goods being transported, as well as their destination.  【跟读】  它包含要运输的货物的类型和数量,以及它们的目的地。

It also acts as proof of ownership of the cargo. 【跟读】它也作为货物所有权的证明。

When shipped goods arrive, they must come with a bill of lading that has been signed by the carrier, the shipper, and the receiver.   装运的货物到达时,必须附有承运人、托运人和收货人签字的提单。
