With the globalization and expansion of the world economy and finance, new policy challenges have arisen. Dr. Jacob Frenkel, Chairman of JPMorgan Chase International, is a leader in the world economy with over 40 years of experience in global macroeconomics. Invited by Dr. Min Zhu, Chair of National Institute of Financial Research (NIFR) at Tsinghua University and former Deputy Managing Director of IMF, Dr. Jacob Frenkel is coming to Tsinghua PBC School of Finance to discuss his views on macroeconomic trends, interpret the global economy and policy framework, and share their unique insights into the current global economic development with Dr. Min Zhu.

雅各布·弗兰克尔现任摩根大通国际主席。2001年至2011年担任G-30主席兼首席执行官，2004年至2009年担任美国国际集团公司副主席，2000年至2004年担任美林国际公司董事长兼美林证券主权咨询全球金融机构集团董事长；1991年至2000年期间，他担任两届以色列银行行长；1987年至1991年间，担任国际货币基金组织的经济顾问和研究主任；1973年至1987年，在芝加哥大学担任大卫洛克菲勒国际经济学教授。弗兰克尔博士是国际经济学和宏观经济学领域众多书籍和文章的作者。他于耶路撒冷希伯来大学获得经济学和政治学学士学位，于芝加哥大学获得经济学硕士、博士学位。
Dr. Jacob A. Frenkel is Chairman of JPMorgan Chase International. Dr. Frenkel served from 2001 to 2011 as Chairman and CEO of the G-30, from 2004 to 2009 as Vice Chairman of American International Group, Inc., and from 2000 to 2004 as Chairman of Merrill Lynch International, as well as Chairman of Merrill Lynch' s Sovereign Advisory Global Financial Institutions Groups. Between 1991 and 2000, he served two terms as the Governor of the Bank of Israel. Between 1987 and 1991, he was the Economic Counselor and Director of Research at the International Monetary Fund, and between 1973 and 1987 he was on the faculty of the University of Chicago where he held the position of the David Rockefeller Professor of International Economics. Dr. Frenkel is the author of numerous books and articles in the fields of International Economics and Macroeconomics. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago.

朱民博士目前任清华大学国家金融研究院院长，也是世界经济论坛董事会执行董事。朱民博士于2011年7月至2016年7月担任国际货币基金组织副总裁。此前，他曾担任中国人民银行副行长和中国银行副行长。他曾在世界银行工作，并在约翰﹒霍普金斯大学和复旦大学讲授经济学。
Dr. Min Zhu is currently Chairman of the National Institute of Financial Research at Tsinghua University. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at the World Economic Forum. Dr. Zhu was Deputy Managing Director at IMF from July 2011 to July 2016. Before that, he served as Deputy Governor of the People’s Bank of China. Prior to his service at China’s central bank, he worked as Group Executive Vice President in Bank of China. Dr. Zhu also worked at the World Bank and taught economics at both Johns Hopkins University and Fudan University.
