Roughly, guitar was composed by body, bridge and neck. When you pluck the guitar string, you create vibrations called  standing waves, oscillating back and forth and producing notes, rhythm, melody and music. The vibration transmit through neck and bridge to the guitar's body, where thin and flexible wood also vibrates, justling the surrounding air molecule together and apart. The sequential compression of air create sound waves. Most waves escape from the hole of the body and come into people's ear by translating into electrical impulses. our brain will automatically interpret them as sound.

The pitch of sound depends on the frequency of the compression. Quick vibration string will cause lots of compression close together, making a high pitch sound. Slow vibration makes low pitch sound.Length, tension, density and thickness affects frequency of vibrating string. Six strings on one guitar are all the same length and similar tension, but varies in density and thickness. thicker strings vibrate more slowly, producing lower-notes.

Guitar's shape and materials vary. so the nature and sounds of the vibrations vary, too. Playing two or more strings at the same time will create new way of pattern like chord and other south affects.

Physics in music is not only for entertainment. some physicists think everything in the universe is created by the harmonious series of very tiny very tense strings. it is so fantastic, i mean,  music and physics.
