Turkey and the European Union- Media freedom RIP?

The article comes from Jan.2015 the economist.

From the first sentence: Afresh round of arrests takes relation with the European Union to a new low. An instant idea-euro problem again, came to my mind. As reading, it proved that I was wrong. This article primarily discussed the knotty matters faced with Turkey.

Since the conflict between the Turkey’s president, Mr Endogan, and Gulen, a sunni cleric based on Pennsylvania, Mr Endogan limited the media which pisses off him whether it is intentional or not. And the euro criticized the act of Turkey“in compatible with the freedom of media, which is a core principle of democracy.
