The plane was late and detectives were waiting at the airport all morning. They were expecting a valuable parcel of diamondsfrom South Africa. A few hours earlier, someone had told the police that thieves would try to steal the diamonds. When the plane arrived, some of the detectives were waiting inside the main building while others were waiting on the airfield. Two men took the parcel off the plane and carried it into the Customs House. While two detectives were keeping guard at the door, two others opened the parcel. To their surprise, the precious parcel was full of stones and sand!

练习感悟：

原文录音时长53秒，朗读录音时长54秒，比原文录音多1秒，达到最低朗读要求。

这次录音被人指出expecting/main/keep三个单词发音错误，自己回听了下自己的录音，的确是读错了，expecting读的不清晰；main读成了man；keep读成了/rip/。而且朗读的不流畅，当中有不少需要需要回想发音的过程。总体来说发音还是不过关，朗读训练需要持续的练下去，这个在20多岁就应该完成的任务拖到了20年，这个学习债有的还了。
