iconic adj.

释义：very famous and well known, and believed to represent a particular idea

我们都很熟悉名词“icon”，常用来表示“图标”，也可以表示“偶像” “代表人物”。今天我们学习它的形容词形式 iconic，意思是“偶像的”“标志性的”。在一些语境下它可以用来替换 important，famous，impressive 等词。

iconic 可以形容物，也可以形容人。比如：

例① Nike/Starbucks/Coca-Cola/Tesla is an iconic brand.
