Chapter 17: Sports

1 总结

行话用的太多就没有新鲜感了，容易给外行人倦怠感（weariness）。

对同一位运动员用过多的同义词，反而让读者分不清谁是谁。用最容易唤起读者画面感的词就可以了，因为读者往往更关注比赛结果。

数字用的太多，很容易让读者摸不着头脑。只捡最重要的说就行了。

运动员也是普通人，要将运动员和大众产生的联系（human bond）写出来。

体育涉及很多社会问题，这也是体育类文章的着笔之处。

体育记者要报道事实，不要加入过多的臆测。（codes of honor）（一级方程式赛车手的例子看的人很激动）

最优秀的体育作家是将体育和社会历史结合的作家。

3 Thoughts

Honest portraiture is only one of many new realities in what used to be a fairy-tale world.

因为没怎么看过体育文章，就不评论体育相关了。在充满过度解读、自说自话的现在，事实成为了最稀缺的资源。比如最近的江歌遇害案，由于真相扑朔迷离，刘鑫一方可以打苦情牌。微博上经常上热搜的名人八卦，所谓的社会热点，真实的成分能有多少？而网友可以选择随意站队，不管真相如何，只选择自己最愿意相信的部分。长此以往，我们会失去判断真假，深入思考的能力。这是快时代、科技时代的通病。我认为作者说的深入考察是一个很好的解决办法。关注热点，不要只去看爆点是什么，要去看起因，发展的过程，并思考成因背后的逻辑。人物和地点，时间和转变，似乎也是个通用的法则。
