Teach kids chores 

很多父母都不让孩子做家务. 理由是不想让孩子累着，或者教孩子做比自己动手更累。 

Most  parents are reluctant to allow kids do chores for "  likelihood of  fatigue on kids  caused by chores or the troublesome of teaching  chores. " 

其实家务不仅仅是孩子自立，更重要的是能教她爱心。 为了家庭成员而付出自己的劳动，就是一种爱的实践。 让他自己体验这种愉悦，比单纯的说教效果好多了。 另外，孩子喜欢尝试新的活动，做家务对他们来说就像是一种新的游戏。 

To my knowledge , Chores is a fantastic way to  kids to learn "love"  along with independent .   It is way much efficient for them to experience it  by themselves  rather than  lecture of parents .  By the way ,  kids love try new things, doing chores could be as fun as playing game .

以下是一些教幼童家务的建议： 

Below are some tips for teaching chores to young kids .

1. 越早开始越好, 建议两周岁就开始教。 

Start as earlier as possible .  2 years old recommended .

2. 分配适合他们能力的家务，在边上提供支持。 

Assign Age-appropriate chores of which kids are capable of completing . adult supervision is required 

3. 鼓励他们，而不是奖励。 告诉他们做的事情给家庭带来的改变。 物质上的奖励，是不可持续的。 

Encourage them rather than reward . ( The reward of love is love itself ) Enlighten them on the happiness of the family brought by their efforts.   The physical reward is not sustainable  . 

4. 不要强迫孩子做，要引导。记住，他们不是奴隶。 

Under no circumstances can you force kids to do chores, introduce the joy of chores to them instead . Remember , they are not slave .

两到三周岁    2-3 Years  

Assist in making their beds   

协助整理床铺 

Stock books on shelf 

把书放在书架上

我在宜家买了落地书架，保证孩子能轻松拿到书和整理书。她喜欢整理的工作，就是把玩具也挪进了书架里。 

将脏衣服放到洗衣篮里 

Take their dirty laundry to the laundry basket 

捡起玩具，放进盒子里

Pick up playthings and place them into box 

四-五周岁     4-5 years 

洗碗，够不着就让她站在凳子上。 

Wash dish and bowls  ， teach her to stand on stool to reach the basin .

打酱油 

Carry light groceries  

摆放餐具 

Set the table  

给花浇水

water houseplants 

孩子很喜欢浇水，家长要注意点，因为植物往往是被淹死的。

Fold Landry and match clean socks  , put in their drawer 

整理衣服和袜子 

我们买了个迷你的衣橱，以便她能够到

Make salad and cold dish  

做各种冷菜  

clean floor with mop 

扫地擦地 

Get Dressed with help from parents 

在父母的帮助下穿衣服
