Camellia’s florescence extends from December to the next April. Its colors are blaring and flamboyant, capturing yellow, white and mainly red.
This year’s exhibition displayed various camellia and pertinent science researches, rendering it the largest camellia exhibition of our city in three years. The exhibition reached every corner of the campus, providing the avid plant lovers more chances to appreciate the flowers, creating a more comfy and welcoming ambiance for visitors as well.
This year’s display lasted two months as it unfolded more than 200 different variants of camellia.

As the social network becomes the new norm, increasing number of both parents and children need to face the problem that comes along with it. Studies indicate that social network communicating could not only create a better bonding environment for teens and their parents, but also reducing the behavior problems of juveniles effectively. However, in the perspective of the children, real-life-based communication between them and their parents which includes the verbal and body-language interaction could both guarantee the probity of the talking content and increase the mutual trust. The digital communication is prevailing the world with unstoppable steps with unique advantages. To me, no matter how badly some parents think it would woefully stand in the way towards a satisfactory relation with their kids, believe it or not, it is the parents themselves that make the resulting gap between themselves and their boys and girls.
For the starter, the parent-child communication issue plants its seed into the soil long before the point where the kids are old enough to know how to have fun with social network. Instead of pointing finger at the social work, some parents should have a thorough reflection about the way they taught the kids how to communicate properly with others and how they have had handled those communication boo boo in the process of it with the little ones.
In addition, children, as an individual, has the inalienable right of privacy as well. The main reason why part of the children consider online communication with their moms and dads as a pain in the neck is that most of their parents do so anonymously which makes them feel that their freedom and privacy are severely violated, thus, of course, they would naturally repulse this kind of way of interaction. So, some parents who are into this little digital social spy game probably need to gather more courage to get to know about lives of their children better by respecting the privacy of them and taking them more serious as they are the adult-to-be.
All in all, there’s always two sides of coin and one cannot have a cake and eat it. Communicating, no matter in real life or digital platform, is never a easy thing to do, so is the parent-child relation, however, neat attitudes and right measures are still needed. It requires efforts from both sides, but, do not forget that who get to teach who in the first place.
