如何解决yum安装出现Another app is currently holding the yum lock; waiting for it to exit...

问题描述：

       使用yum安装epel-release，结果提示：

       [root@localhost etc]# yum -y install epel-release
       Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, langpacks
       Existing lock /var/run/yum.pid: another copy is running as pid 2851.
       Another app is currently holding the yum lock; waiting for it to exit...
       The other application is: yum
       Memory :  24 M RSS (419 MB VSZ)
       Started: Tue Sep 18 11:15:21 2018 - 10:39 ago
       State  : Traced/Stopped, pid: 2851
解决方法：

      强制关掉yum进程：

       [root@localhost etc]# rm -rf /var/run/yum.pid

继续使用yum，enjoy it ！
