Don't Know What

Don't know after which alarm I got up. Set three last night and the first one I heard but just turned off.

Up? To be or not to be, that sometimes is the question.

After a long time of doing something, say a job, you don't like, you might lose your interest in many, many, many things. You might even find your life a bit meaningless. Especially when you think back and find that those years past have passed to no avail and for no particular purpose.

A punching sense of annihilation of and anxiety for life you would feel, every day.

Thought I heard the birds sing when just up. But listened more closely, found it was the rubber noise from the slippers that I was wearing and stepping unevenly on when I moved about.

But now while I'm typing, I can hear the real birds really singing.

They've started their day already. Just a bit later than mine.

The early bird gets the worm.

And I'm not a bird.

I don't normally eat worms, even when they are well cooked.
