270. Closest Binary Search Tree Value

Description

Given a non-empty binary search tree and a target value, find the value in the BST that is closest to the target.

Note:

  • Given target value is a floating point.
  • You are guaranteed to have only one unique value in the BST that is closest to the target.

Solution

Recursive Binary search, time O(logn), space O(1)

写起来略繁琐,不如下面的iterative写法。注意不要把diff强转成int,可能会overflow。

        return closest;

Iterative Binary search

非常简洁的写法,喜欢。
