CBRS是Citizens Broadband Radio Service的缩写。
2015年美国联邦通讯委员会(FCC)批准了CBRS(公民宽带无线电服务)的频谱。
CBRS频谱的带宽是150MHz
CBRS频谱的范围是3550到3700MHz, 频率分配跨越现有的LTE频段42(3400兆赫到3600兆赫)和LTE频段43(3600兆赫到3800兆赫)。
CBRS的频段是Band 48,TD-LTE制式,支持语音、短信、数据服务
该频谱作为共享频谱被美国政府和其他商业机构和社团实体共享使用。
CBRS采用三层频谱共享框架设计。最上面是现任访问层,后面是优先级访问层。最后一层是一般授权访问,包括可供一般使用的其余频谱。
CBRS克服了WiFi的局限性,为大型商业企业提供了更高效的选择。WiFi覆盖范围和容量有限。CBRS为商业企业提供两倍的容量和四倍的WiFi范围。
CBRS联盟由120个成员公司组成。CBRS联盟认为,CBRS频段的基于LTE的解决方案,利用共享频谱,可以实现建筑和室外覆盖以及大规模扩容。为了最大限度地发挥CBRS的全部潜力,CBRS联盟旨在建立一个强大的生态系统,以提供基于LTE的CBRS解决方案。CBRS联盟的任务是宣传基于LTE的CBRS技术、用例和业务机会,同时推动完成任务所需的技术发展,包括多运营商LTE能力。联盟还将为美国3.5GHz频段的LTE设备建立有效的产品认证计划,确保多供应商的互操作性。
与公网运营商频段相比CBRS不同的是频谱分配给每个用户的方式。CBRS不是在大范围内把频谱卖给广域覆盖的运营商,也不像WiFi那样完全公开免费试用频段。相反,每栋建筑内的使用都是根据具体情况单独要求和分配的。如果不再需要,则返回给他人使用。
分配频谱的过程是自动化的,有几个频谱分配服务器(SAS)在全国范围内协调该方案。作为注册请求的一部分,每个小单元报告其水平位置在50米以内,垂直位置在3米以内。SAS使用地形数据和无线电传播模型来计算对附近其他小单元的影响。额外的室外无线电测量接收器(环境传感器)也用于评估背景水平。如果射频功率密度小于-80dBm(1x10-11瓦),则SAS授权频谱使用。
其理念是,频谱是一项宝贵的国家资产,应加以利用,而不是休眠。
目前市面上已经有一些支持CBRS的模组和产品。这里我们采用一款模组开发板进行测试。
由于CBRS的频段比较特殊,这里我们采用微戎WR100作为CBRS基站模拟器配合测试。
将CBRS模组的天线口直接通过功分器和射频线连接到WR100上。通过微戎测试系统配置界面,设置为TDD的Band 48,在测试单板上插入测试SIM卡,即可以开始测试。在终端单板的串口上输入AT+CFUN=1,可以看到终端成功接入网络,获取到IP,并且可以ping通和访问公网。

解析MIB消息可以看到带宽是10MHz,PHICH的配置,以及SFN
