不过刚刚读了一遍，觉得效果还不错~

After being tutored for a few months,Greg can say his Rs with no problem, which means he didnt need to be in the Champs any more.So he FAKED in order to stay with his tight friends（关系铁）.But one day he let his guard down and slipped out（放松警惕说漏嘴）. From that day on, he became an outcast（异类、被排斥的人).

Manny played soccer this spring, and his team stunk(原形stink 糟透了). However,in order not to let the kids in the losing team down,this year everyone got a gigantic( 巨大的/dʒaɪ'ɡæntɪk/) trophy.(奖杯 /ˈtroufi/ ）No kid was more proud to get his trophy than A.(没人比A 更自豪 no...is more...than )

Greg traded in most of his stuff for Spinetickers books(trade in A for B 拿A换B).Mom wasn't all that thrilled/impressed but he didn't have much of a choice.There were a bunch of Spineticklers series and rip-offs(要价过高的物品/劣质货/翻版盗版仿制品) at the book fair a few weeks before Halloween.

Greg is not a big fan of （狂热喜欢）scary books because after reading them,he end up having nightmares. But Rowley is even more of a chicken （a coward 懦夫）than i am because he gets goose bumps (起鸡皮疙瘩)when he read the junior series.

Greg considers it a good plan to freeze himself.So if he wins the lottery (赢彩票）/strikes it rich (一夜暴富) /scrape together/up enough money（好不容易很困难地攒够足够的钱）one day,he is gonna buy a one-way ticket (单程票 round-trip ticket 返程票) to the future, freeze the whole body and do it right.He is not willing to go any further than thousand years,because who knows how much human beings will have evloved by then.(谁知道到时候人类会进化成什么样呢，时态的用法很好，可以活用who knows how the language will have evolved） ...

There is this (this 的用法很好，我们一般只会说 there is a..介绍这就是那个英语老师：there’s this english teacher) jerk at out school named... and i dont want to deal with him anymore.
