虽然俺英语差，但俺一直非常喜欢英语，尤其是翻译。2009年读研一时，俺曾报过一次CATTI3笔，但可能主要因汉译英太差而没拿到证（笔译实务未过线）。换句话说，俺的英译汉大体上算差强人意。不过，好久没练习了，明显有些生疏了……
没有学好英语是俺心中永远的痛，也在很大程度上限制了俺的事业发展。顺便提醒读到这篇文章的读者朋友们，记住：一定要学好英语！
关于如何学英语，英语大牛、英语专家们言人人殊。当然，都有一定道理。不过，还是那句话，适合自己的才是最好的。近期，俺顺手翻了翻张培成教授的《汉英对比与英语学习》，觉得其基于英语写作和汉译英而提出的“英语译学法”非常不错！（需要特别指出的是：俺在文中提到老师、书籍仅是出于学习目的，绝无半点儿商业推广企图，还请读者朋友们明鉴~俺现为某移民公司网编，与图书行业几无牵扯）
如果没有记错，大学阶段我是读着王长喜老师的英语辅导书度过的。王老师的书非常棒！今天调休，俺去国图瞎晃悠。无意间发现了王老师的《玩转大学英语四级写作与汉译英e课堂》一书，爱不释手。
阅读之余，俺突发奇想：可不可以用这本书中的英语作文参考答案来逆向练习（温习）英译汉？
于是就有了下面的内容。
原文：On Exaggeration in Advertising
The picture shows a concerned mother taking her kid to a doctor. Judging from the doctor's words, the mother seems to be worrying that her kid is not developing as well as kids she saw in advertisements.The doctor assures her that the advertisements are not real, and that her kid is just fine.
Today, many advertisements tend to exaggerate.Some exaggerates on the effect of certain kinds of nutritions, saying that if you don't buy their products, your kid won't grow healthily.Some ill-educated people believe whatever they see on TV, and will spend a lot of money on the products.
In my opinion, some of the advertisers are very irresponsible. They only care about making money, not people's need. To solve this problem, I think people should learn more about science and technology in order not to be cheated. On the other hand, the media should take responsibility and stop spreading wrong information.
试译：夸大其词的广告
这幅图显示一位忧心忡忡的母亲带着孩子去看医生。根据医生的话判断，这位母亲似乎担忧她的孩子没有广告中的孩子那样发育良好。医生断言广告不真实，她的孩子发育良好。

原文：Every Body Has His Own Strength
Two people are talking about a baby in the picture. One of them says that though the baby can't talk yet, he can bite you quite hard. We can learn from the conversation that everyone has his own strength.
We live in a society where everyone does his own work. There are people whose work is supplying electricity for the city, and people whose work is treating illnesses for others. Everyone helps others, and at the same time depends on others. We can't live alone, but must live as a community.
In such a society, we must find out what our strength is and make the best of it. If you are good at computer, you can try to find a job in a software company, because you can do the job better than other people. We must learn our own strength to make the most contribution to the society.

原文：Students Should Take School Seriously
The picture shows a conversation in a library. A student wants to find a book on how to do well in school without studying, but the librarian tells him that that kind of book would be nothing but fictional. I quite agree with her.
As the saying goes, "No pain, no gain." If you want to achieve a goal, you must do the necessary work. You must sow the seeds in the spring if you want to harvest in the autumn. If you want to master a skill, you must keep learning and practicing. You can't skip the process and go directly to the result.
For us students, we should take school seriously. Only in school can we learn the knowledge that we will need in the future. And to truly understand the knowledge, we must learn hard. Your hard work will pay off in the future.
