Good morning, my dear professors! Firstly I would like to thank you for giving me this opportunity and i feel hornored to be here to introduce myself. My name is Xu Dekai, 24 years old. My parents gave me this name because they wanted me to become a person of integrity and be successful in the future. I majored in industrial engineering and graduated from ZhengZhou University in 2013. And now, I'm striving for obtaining a key to your prestigious university.
I was born and raised in AnYang city, Henan Province, which is a beautiful ancient city. I’m living in an ordinary family, which is warm, harmonious and happy. My mother and father are all ordinary people. However, my family doesn’t lack laughter and happiness. My parents expend much vim and material resources, so that I can have such a good study environment.
Generally speaking ,i am a hard working student. My performance in my study was quite outstanding. I won the scholarship and was awarded Triple-A student. Furthermore,i am a person with great perserverence. during the days preparing for the first examination,i insist on running every day, and just owning to this,i could concentrate on my study and succeeded in the end.
During my spare time, i like to play basketball and my favorite basketball player is Michael Jordan.He is the reason why i am so crazy about basketball.Besides, I have made many friends through playing due to identical hobby.
This is the second time that I have taken the postgraduate exams. In the meantime, this is also the second time that I have applied for the master program of Management Science and Engineering in Tianjin University.

i’m glad to have the opportunity to introduce my hometown An Yang to you.An Yang is located in the north of Henan province, which is a beautiful ancient city.It has a history of 3,000 years and it is the major birthplaces of Chinese civilization, and is one of China's seven ancient capitals, what’s more, it is said to be "the first ancient capital of China," Anyang has many heritages, such as Yin-ruins ,the red-flag canal ,cao cao's tomb and so on .And the red-flag canal is the most popular one,which has been named by the state as the bases for patriotic education.. every year,tourists around the country come to my hometown for sightseeing.The local people are very kind and hospitality,so welcome all to my hometown for sightseeing,I believe you will enjoy the trip! 2.家庭
I have a happy family.There are five people in my family.My grandfather, father,mother,little sister and I.My father is a building worker,my mother is a farmer,so my parents overcome extreme hardship to bring us up,they are the greatest person in my heart.Although my parents are common people,they are hard-working and kind,their every word and every action tell me how to behave myself well.They support my choice,they give me enough freedom to do what I want to do.When I face the hardship,they encourage me to find way out. I love my parents. I love my family.
3.兴趣爱好
In my spare time, I like to do sports,such as basketball,badminton and running.My favorite sport is basketball.I started playing basketball from junior high school. And Michael Jordan is the reason why i am so crazy with basketball. His superb basketball skills and graceful movements astonished me . Jordan said:" I can accept failure, but can not accept to give up." which inspired me every time when i came into failure. In fact,I play basketball quite well, i was one of the members of the school basketball team when i was in senor high school .in the basketball court,I like to play the role of Point Guard,that is to organize the offensive of the whole team.It need organization ability and good ball control ability.Every week,I play basketball at least once,I find that play basketball can make my body stronger and healthy.Besides,it enrich my school life.More important,by playing basketball,I make several good basketball-friends and I get to know the importance of teamwork.
4.学校
I graduated form Zheng Zhou University in 2013 which is the best university in HeNan province. It was founded in 1956. It develops into a comprehensive university with efforts of generations, especially after the reorganization in 2000.It has a refreshing and scholarly atmosphere. Four years’ studying there made me an independent, optimistic and strict man. I appreciate the education my university gave me. That's all, thank you.
5.喜欢看的书
I am very interested with data and programming. In my spare time i like to read some books about data mining and Programming language.Recently i am reading a book called Python-core programming applications. It mainly tells the basic concepts and grammar of python, and gives some applications to show how python can improve our work efficiency.
there is a word i like very much:"life is short, i use python".
during my first internship period, i wrote a program in python to fetch data from the internet which greatly improved my work efficiency, what's more, it makes the boring work full of fun。
6.介绍你的优缺点
Well, firstly, i am a positive and optimistic person, which is the most valuable quality on me. whenever i came into difficulties and unhappy things, i will say to myself that all the unpleasant will be the past, tomorrow is another day. Secondly, i have a strong ability to learn quickly. during my first internship period, under the condition of knowing nothing about python, i took advantage of my spare time to write a program in python to fetch data from the internet which greatly improved my work efficiency, what's more, it makes the boring work full of fun。last but not least, i am a persevering person, once i make a goal, i will try my best to stick to it until succeed. for example, when i decided to enter tian jin university, I insisted on getting up at 5 o'clock every day to study in the library, no matter how cold it is in the winter. Finally, i got the admission notice of tiajin university with excellent results.
My greatest weakness is i don't know how to refuse others, which really annoys me. fo

Firstly, my major meets the requirement of recruitment and my research is related with car. My major is IE, and i research direction is car warranty.
Secondly, FAW-Volkswagen takes lead in the application of new technology and new ideas of the industry. Last year, i had the honor to go with Zhang Guohua to conduct a academic research in FAW-Volkswagen , i am very surprised that FAW has applied a lot of cutting-edge researches into reality, FAW-Volkswagen makes a very good impression on me.
In addition, FAW-Volkswagen is China's most outstanding automotive joint venture, in such a company i can learn a lot of very advanced knowledge.

9.未来五年的职业规划
I want to join the FAW-Volkswagen to do some work related with industry engineering, in the first 2 to 3 years, i will work hard to study the job skills, which will lay a solid foundation for my future work. In the next 2 years, i want to try to take advantage of the projects experiences learned bofore to lead a team to do some projects. Specifically, As an industrial engineering student,i would like to long-term work in the automotive industry. I am eager to join the FAW Volkswagen. After i join Faw-volksvagen, i will be positive to integrate into the corporate culture, grasp the rhythm of the work, understand the job responsibilities, combined with the school's professional foundation and training provided by the company to enhance the ability to work. Planning is just the vision, the effort is the fundamental, I think i have excellent learning ability and correct work attitude, i will work hard for this career planning.

If i have enough money i would buy a Volkswagen CC. The reasons are as follows. Firstly, It is a standard coupe and it is a perfect combination of car stability and the sensitivity of sports car; Secondly it has such a beautiful appearance with high-waist body and automatic frameless door design, it looks both beautiful and fashionable. it is said to be the most beautiful car in volkswagen's history. Last but not least, its price is not very high, which makes it seem so cost-effective.
11.一汽大众的三个工作地点你更倾向于去哪里？ 为什么？
i don't care much about the workplace, the opportunity to work in faw-volkswagen seems much more precious to me. if i have to sort them out, i would say tian jin ,changchu and qingdao. The reasons are as follows. Firstly, i have spent 2.5 years in tianjin, i am more familar with tianjin than the other two places. Secondly, i have some relatives and many friends here in tianjin, so we can meet each other more often and help each other when someone came into trouble.
12.你平时会关注哪些新闻？
I see all kinds of news, especially national events, social news, such as the situation in the Taiwan Strait. Since I am a basketball fan and a game fan, I am also concerned about the NBA, and some e-sports events.
LOL，also named as league of legends, is a moba (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena
) game. It is similar with dota. Compared with dota, LOL is much more friendly to beginners, it is not so difficult as dota. There are many Chinese elements in it, such as monkey king. I began to play LOL there years ago, but i am not very good at it.

14.考研的原因
First of all, I love my major. During four years’ study, i have lerned many professional knowledge ,but i just can’t satisfied with it. I hope I could have a better understanding in Industrial engineering by studying further. This is a very important reason for me to take the postgraduate exams.
Next, I love the feeling in the university. It is full of youthful spirit. And I am deeply attracted by the scholarly atmosphere.
Finally, I want to talk about a very practical problem. That is my dream to work in a competitive company like FAW-Volkswagen. I want to realize my dream and make myself to be a well-qualified person. I think the postgraduate studies can enrich my knowledge and make me competent in my future job. That’s my simple and clear reasons why I took the postgraduate exams.
