[Introduction]

The Sichuan Copper Coin is the currency cast by the local government of Sichuan Province during the late Qing and Beiyang periods. The Sichuan copper coin was opened in June of the Guangxu twenty-ninth year (1903). It was only after the circulation of the legal currency in November of the Republic of China (1935) that it gradually withdrew from circulation. At the beginning of the Republic of Sichuan, the copper coin in the middle of the coin was in the middle of the word "Sichuan Copper Coin". The middle part was the flower pattern of the sea bream. The upper eyebrows had the words "made by the military government", the lower part was the value of the currency, and there was a circle in the middle of the back. There was a "Han" in the circle. The word, the outer circle of 18 small circles, symbolizes the independent 18-line province, the upper part is the "first year of the Republic of China", a total of ten, twenty, fifty.

This group of Sichuan copper coins is exquisitely patterned, natural in patina, well-made, and fidelity. In the front central bead ring, there are four characters of “Sichuan Copper Coin”, which are arranged up and down and left and right, and the center is decorated with Hibiscus pattern. The upper circle of the bead circle "The military government made" four characters, the lower edge indicates the value of the currency, and the left and right are decorated with flower stars. The central circle on the back of the copper coin is a book of "Han" characters, and the "Han" word has dozens of horizontal straight lines at the bottom. Therefore, the coin collectors also call it the "Han" word copper. The "Han" circle is surrounded by 18 small circles, representing the 18 provinces at that time. Putting 18 small circles around the "Han" characters into one, implying that the people of the eighteen provinces unite and fight together for "expulsion and recovery of China." It bears the distinctive imprint of the era of the Revolution of 1911 and witnesses the magnificent revolutionary history. In addition to the war, many ancient coins have been damaged and lost, and it is rare to preserve them. The collection value is extremely high!
