四川铜币，是晚清和北洋时期四川省地方政权铸造的货币。由于川省银铜矿缺乏，加之辛亥革命以后军阀割据，致使中央政府《币制条例》关于铜币之原料比例、铜币面额的规定没有严格遵守，四川铜币发行量十分巨大，致使物价虚高、影响经济发展。四川铜币，自光绪二十九年（1903年）六月开铸，至民国二十四年（1935年）十一月法币开始流通才逐渐退出流通领域。

而此枚四川铜币图案文字清晰、无磨损，制作精良，包浆包老。正面中央珠圈内有“四川铜币”四字，上下左右分列，其中心饰有芙蓉花纹。珠圈上缘书 “军政府造”四字，下缘标明币值，左右饰以花星纹饰。铜币背面中央大圆圈内为一篆书“汉”字，“汉”字底有数十条横直纹，因而钱币收藏者也称之为“汉”字铜元。“汉”字圆圈外还环绕有18个小圆圈，代表当时的十八个省。把18个小圆圈围绕着“汉”字联成一体，寓意十八省人民团结起来 共同为“驱逐鞑虏，恢复中华”而战斗。它带有辛亥革命那一时期鲜明的时代印记，见证了那一段波澜壮阔的革命历史。该“四川铜币（壹百文）”是难得的珍品，价值不菲，值得收藏。
