「联想」之前分析过-scribe抄写员- ascribe归因于, 今天继续看scribbled意思为潦草的，scribbler（a person who writes for a living or as a hobby) 耍笔杆子的人, 发现作者Stephen King用这个字根的单词特别多，简直是大全了！

mot：a witty remark

puffy：浮肿的，肿胀的

「拆分」puff+y ：puff意为喘气，少量（n）puffs of cloud一缕缕云

huff and puff ： breathe heavily with exhaustion: express one's annoyance in an obvious or threatening way.
