Listen: What do they see on the sign ?
Ss listen to the tape and say out the sentences of sign.
Write down:

(purpose:Lead Ss learn the imperative sentences. Let Ss make sentences,study it in order to apply it.Learn about they must obey the rules when they travel.)
Ss try to make the sentences like this.
2.While reading
Read independently
1)What is bear doing at the zoo?
2)What food do giraffes and pandas eat?
Ss read by self.Answer the questions.
(purpose:Read firstly,to develop Ss’reading ability.Ss can understand easily to learn the new words from the passage.)
Find out the new words and phrases:
giraffe,danger,
dangerous,instead of…
Ss read in different roles.
Read by roles acting.
Ss practice in groups,the act out in class .
Try to act out the dialogue .
(purpose:Be familiar to the dialogue deeply,stand out the important points.To improve their abilities of acting and expressing.)
3.Post-reading
Show two tasks:
Task1:
Imagine you’ll go to Qinling Wild zoo.Make a new dialogue with your partner.(Show some tips.)
Task2:Imagine you’ll go to Qinling Wild Zoo,make a short report in class.
Give Ss about 5 minutes to exercise by themselves,then ask some pairs to act out in front of the class.
(purpose:Check the output after input.Stand out the difficult points.Pay attention to the differences of students.)

教学反思
八年级学生已具有了一定的英语学习能力。在本节课的教学过程中,在具体的语境中学习新词汇,便于学生掌握。能根据学生实际的认知水平,采取了Task-based Language Teaching method,Situation Teaching Method等教学方法,在引导阅读中采取了PWP的教学模式,借助PPT课件和创设情境为学生营造轻松、和谐的学习氛围,评价激励学生敢说,敢于表现。
优点:
采取各种形式的读,自读、个体角色扮演朗读、全体分角色朗读等,并带着不同难易程度的问题层层深入,达到读懂课文,获取主要信息,突出教学重点。
在拓展提升环节,根据学生差异能够分层布置任务,先为学生搭好支架,设计了drill让所有学生都能开口去说,优生完成report这一难度较大的挑战。从而突破难点。
充分体现了学生的主体地位,在整个教学中,学生始终在教师的引导下积极参与讨论、交流、对话等。在输出环节,尽可能多的让学生展示,充分训练学生的综合语言表达能力。
不足:
1、对时间的把控不够准确,课堂略显前松后紧,在拓展提升环节学生展示的量不够,还有很多同学举手跃跃欲试,由于时间关系,很遗憾没有看到他们的创新与精彩之处。
2、应在拓展环节再添加上对于知识目标(词汇)的检测加以巩固。
