1，topple  记忆方法 （top+ple）v.推翻，倒塌

2，valve    记忆方法  （val+ve） n.阀，（心脏的）瓣膜

3，relative  n. 亲戚 关系词 adj. 相对的，相关的，成比例的，相应的

4，pit  v.使有麻子的，使凹陷 n.深洞，矿井，麻子

Eg. Her face was pitted from smallpox. (由于出天花，她脸上有了麻子)

5，enquire v. 询问  enquire sth.  询问某事

6，overture  v. 提议，序曲，主动表示  overture to sth.

7,cocaine  n. 可卡因  cocaine  addict  可卡因成瘾
