Keep Calm and Pass IELTS

There are totally 6 weeks available for me to prepare for another IELTS test, which is very short actually. The good news is I know where my weakness is, but what drives me nuts is I still face essay writing blankly. If seen in the long term, this language test will just act as a tiny point among other more important events like career, marriage, childbirth and things like that. However, right here right now, it matters so much to me that the only thing I can do is to make it with every effort.

Today I uninstalled an app called MiaoPai(秒拍)from my mobile phone. I do like it actually, but it can easily get me distracted from the study and I may get addicted to watching the various fun and attractive videos on it. So for my own sake, I have to let it disappear from my life for a while. The principle to overcome distraction is to allow no SMS, no emails and no social media while studying. On the other hand, I suggested this adorable app to Ling because Lang Lang, a worldwide renowned Chinese pianist, has got a large collection of videos on this platform, teaching people how to play the piano.I think it may be helpful to her.

Where There Is A Will, There Is A Way.

After dinner, I shared with Ling and Jenny my initial travel plan in Australia. They both gave me plenty of useful suggestions and I will work out a detailed itinerary after passing the test. Travelling alone may be inevitable, but safety is the top priority as it is the basis of all activities. I will choose either traveling in a group tour or taking a cruise, so that I can protect myself from any potential risks like harassment and robbery during my trip. God bless me!
