As a boy growing up in a remote village in china, Mao Zedong remembered oberserving thousands of  poor farmers who had been seared in the flames of withering poverty.As a strategist, he husted his way into the peasant and worker movement ,commandering many wars . Yet it was director  the  War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and  the War of Liberation that put him on track to becoming the founder of the People's Republic  of  China .
