The test of spoken English could inspect a person`s ability of colloquial language by a objective mean. For most people, spoken English is deemed momentous.

As everyone knows, English learning is not only writing and reading which have been considered as the most significant part of learning English, but also listening and spiking which generally be neglected by us. In pace with that China went to the world arena, there are more and more opportunities which we could cooperate with foreigners. Quite a few people came to know that the significance of listening and spiking, therefore for most people, spoken English is deemed momentous.

But not everyone feels that the spoken English is more important than other parts, they think that the foundation of English learning is reading, because if someone can not even recognize a simple word, his study of English will be a hardship. So making the cornerstone of English is more momentous.

As far as I am concerned, English is an instrument to communicate with someone else. So spoken English is helpful actually, but if we expend too much energy on it, the foundation will not stable. So every part of English learning is significant comparably.
