If you're going to try,go all the way. Otherwise, don't even start.要想改变自己就要坚持不懈，如果做不到，就不要开始。

go a long way:  有成就

go far: 有成就

If you're going to try,go all the way. This could mean losing girlfriends,wives,relatives ,jobs and maybe your mind.Go all the way.如果你想尝试，那就全力以赴。这样可能使你失去女友、妻子，亲人，工作乃至你的理智。即便这样，你也要全力以赴。

It could mean not eating for three or four days. It could mean freezing on a park bench. It  could mean jail.  It  could mean derision, mockery,isolation.也许你好几天食不果腹，坐在公园的长凳上冻得瑟瑟发抖，甚至被送进监狱，遭受他人的冷嘲热讽还有孤立。

Isolation is the gift. All the others are  a test of your endurance,of how much you really wangt to do it. And, you'll do it,despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine.孤立无援其实是馈赠给你的礼物。所有的遭遇都是对你意志力的的考验，考验你的决心有多大。尽管途中会碰到拒绝和最坏的可能。但或许结果会比你想象的好。

The worst odds：艰难  odds（集体名词）困难  odd：奇怪

If you're going to try,go all the way. There is no other feeling  like that.如果你想尝试，那就全力以赴。除此以外，也别无他法。
