Global warming, also referred to as climate change, is the observed century-scale rise in the average temperature of the Earth's climate system and its related effects. Global warming can cause melting glaciers, rising sea levels and urban haze weather with the temperature keep climbing up. We are here to look at the whole tendency of global warming from the past century til now and discus the better solutions for it.  

From the chart above , we can find that ,though the temperature fluctuate a lot, from 1880 to 2012 the global average temperature keep rising and its growing speed increases with the slope got higher.  In the 20 century, the average global temperature climbs up about 0.6 degrees. For the record, the 10 hottest years are 1997, 1998,2000, 2001 and 2003.

And when we look further into the deviation in these years, we can see that the earth is keep deviating from the average and get higher and higher since 1975.   But yet in the last decade we can see that the temperature deviation rate get lower, the acceleration had stabilized due to human efforts.

Yet some developed countries are blaming others for letting out excessive carbon dioxide and claim that they should be punished for that. To figure out the situation, let's go see another graph stating the actual carbon emission statistics around the world.

This graph illustrates the emission of carbon dioxide from 1971 to 2010 in different regions. The size of the pop vary as time goes by. We can read that though the emission of China had grown these years, it remain relatively low amount compared to other developed and developing countries like the United States, Korea and Singapore. It is not reasonable to blame a particular country for the global warming issue, especially out of political intention.The better future of our earth depends on the co-effert of different countries and different species. China need to maintain this strength and manage illegal emission to avoid natural damage.

 When we start looking into the proper ways to handle the situation,  we can have the evaluation of 10 precent solutions to retard the global warming ,according to a survey of the Royal Society. These methods include Carbon Capture & Storage at source, Afforestation, Stratospheric aerosols, CO2 air capture, Enhanced weathering, BECS(energy saving design) , loud albedo, Surface albedo (urban), Space reflectors, Biochar and Surface albedo (desert). The evaluation is form by mainly 4 criteria: effectiveness, affodability, timeliness and safety.  Although lowering surface albedo is accessed to score the highest in safety, it can be a waste of money and time which is not recommended.

From the graph, we can conclude that Carbon Capture & Storage, Afforestation and Stratospheric aerosols are the three top solutions to solve the problem, which means we need to go great length in developing carbon capture and stratospheric aerosols techniques and accelerating the forest building activities. I hope these statistics will help decision makers adopt the better ways to protect our living environment.
