上周位居海外的孩子们的晨读群里，老师发来今年的高考作文题
阅读下面的材料，根据要求写作。
春秋时期，齐国的公子纠与公子小白争夺君位，管仲和鲍叔分别辅佐他们。管仲带兵阻击小白，用箭射中他的衣带钩，小白装死逃脱。后来小白即位为君，史称齐桓公。鲍叔对桓公说，要想成就霸王之业，非管仲不可。于是桓公重用管仲，鲍叔甘居其下，终成一代霸业。后人称颂齐桓公九合诸侯、一匡天下，为“春秋五霸”之首。孔子说：“桓公九合诸侯，不以兵车，管仲之力也。”司马迁说：“天下不多（称赞）管仲之贤而多鲍叔能知人也。”
班级计划举行读书会，围绕上述材料展开讨论。齐桓公、管仲和鲍叔三人，你对哪个感触最深？请结合你的感受和思考写一篇发言稿。
我一惊，把题目读给9岁儿子听，没想到他不加思索的回答道，我知道这个故事，《千字文》里提到过，而且管鲍之交指的就是这里的管仲和鲍叔牙的故事。我心中窃喜，半年前在每日晨读的《千字文》课中，老师曾解释过“桓公匡合，济弱扶倾。绮回汉惠，说感武丁”的意思，还放过动画片。之后曾在给儿子读历史故事的时候也正好读到过管鲍之交的故事。
作为一枚理科生，这时心里已经很佩服儿子了，比我当年强呀。回想我高考的时候一定是不知道什么是“桓公匡合”，在应试教育的大环境中，所有的学习都是为了考试目的，被动记忆的结果就是随着考试的结束而灰飞烟灭、物归原主。
孩子的认知、世界观和思想的积累和养成需要一个循序渐进的积累过程，而那些古今中外，或魔幻、或幽默、或侦探、或冒险的故事和书籍恰恰是润物无声的基石和条砖。希望孩子们从兴趣出发，以读书伴随和滋养他们的一生，这比任何物质财富的赐给或拥有都更重要。
这不，暑假刚至，Selena老师就发来了reading list，并组织起每周一次的读书分享。这一周，儿子分享的他最近喜欢的《Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 》，还特意学习用思维导图总结，图文并茂，虽然还很欠缺，但其努力值得记录。
This book is an exciting cliff-hanger that is quite unpredictible. It was written by J.K Rowling as the last book of the Harry Potter series and ending all of the problematic stuff with Voldemort. In this story, Harry’s relatives that have died (including Dumbledore and Sirius Black) are revived in Harry’s mind (in which I find it quite happy). I highly recommend this book as a fantasy book that is full of magic and takes you into a different dimension.
Dedication: seven ways, husband,three children,sister,mother and the reader of the book (who has followed Harry up until this ‘last’ book, the other being the Cursed Child).
Summary:
The books starts with the Death eaters and Nagini at Malfoy Manor for a meeting and Voldemort decides to borrow Lucius Malfoy’s (Draco Malfoy’s father) wand to kill Harry Potter when he evacuates from Privet Drive.
Harry starts at Privet Drive (as always) thinking about Dumbledore’s death of ‘Avada Kedavra’. The Dursleys are evacuating from Privet Drive and Dudley thanks Harry for saving his soul from an Dementor (soul-eating phantom-like ghost) attack, Aunt Petunia says he is a gentleman. Two of the members of the Order of the Phoenix (Dedalus Diggle and Hestia Jones) escort him from Privet Drive to an undisclosed location.
Ron, Fred, George, Hermione, Fleur Delacour (a Tri-wizard contestant and Semi-Veela) and Mundungus Fletcher (who have all transformed into Harry via Polyjuice potion to stop Voldemort getting the real Harry). They go the Burrow (Weasley house) but is ambushed on the way, Killing Alastor Moody (Professor Moody or Mad-eye Moody) and Hedwig. The survivors group up at the Burrow and find that George’s ear is cursed off by Serverus Snape.
They go to Fleur and Bill’s (Weasley’s biggest Child) wedding after Rufus Scrimgeour gave them things that Dumbledore wanted to give to them (Ron: the Deluminator, Hermione: The tales of Beedle the Bard and to Harry: Godric Gryffindor’s sword and Harry’s first golden Snitch). Harry disguises himself as ‘Barney Weasley’ and finds out things about Dumbledore and that he had a sister called Ariana and a brother called Aberforth. Kingsley Shacklebolt’s (order of the Phoenix leader) Patroneus tells them that the Ministry of Magic (magic government) is taken over by Death eaters (dark wizards).
At 12 Grimmauld Place (former D.A. headquarters and Black family house) they call Kreacher (Black family house-elf)and tells how he was tortured by Voldemort and how he was rescued by R.A.B (Regulus Arturus Black) with the Black family locket but was killed. They send Kreacher to find it.
While they are waiting, they are visited by Remus Lupin who tells them what is happening in the ministry and tells them that he wants to abandon his son because he might be a werewolf (like him). Harry tells him that he’s a coward and he storms of leaving Kreacher with Mundungus Fletcher. They manage to get the locket and Harry has a dream about a person called Gregorovitch (who made Viktor Krum’s wand). Goblins Griphook and Gornuk reveal that Gryffindor’s sword is now in the Lestrages’ valt at Gringotts after Harry locates Alastor Moody’s eye and gives it a proper burial. They manage to get two of Voldemort’s Horcruxs (something that puts somebody’s soul into): Phineas Nigellus Black’s portrait and Marvolo Gaunt’s key.
The trio go to Harry’s birthplace: Godric’s Hollow and find the Potter family’s house and visit an old historian and friend of the Dumbledore family in whose house Harry has a spectator vision of his Parent’s death.
They read ‘the life and lies of Albus Dumbledore’ and finds out lots of things.
Later, the sword was stolen and a Patroneus doe led them to a pool in which the sword was. After Harry went underwater to get it, the doe and Ron saved him from drowning.
They visit Xenophilius Lovegood (father of Luna Lovegood) and he tells the story of the three brothers.
They are kidnapped and dumped in the cellar of Malfoy manor while Hermione is being tortured by Bellatrix Lestrange and later they rescue her and get Draco and Peter Pettigrew’s wands
They go to Shell cottage in which Fleur and Bill are now living and they break into the gringotts bank and releasing a dragon in order to escape. After they escape and are chased into a bar where they find that the barman is called Aberforth. Aberforth reveals that Ariana was very easily angered and he was the only one that could stop her but one day, he wasn’t there and she killed her mother and Gellert Grindwald, Aberforth and Dumbledore were in a duel and Ariana got hit by a killing curse and was killed. Ariana goes down a passage way and Neville Longbottom comes back. They find out that Neville,Luna and Ginny have restarted D.A. and have hid in the room of requirement to hide from all of the death eaters. They find that the only two left un-living Horcrux of Voldemort is Ravenclaw’s diadem and Hufflepuff’s cup (the other being Nagini).
They went through a magic cupboard that opens up at a different place in the Hogwarts castle every night and they managed to get into Ravenclaw and are confronted by Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle. They find also Hufflepuff’s cup and overpower the Slytherins. Snape then duels Harry and gets blasted through a wall (in which the hole is referred to as Snape-shaped hole). After that, an explosion killed Fred which disturbed friends and family.
They make it to the Shrieking Shack after several students are killed. Voldemort sees Snape’s actions of loyalty to Dumbledore and is killed by Nagini. Snape leaves his memories in Dumbledore’s office and Harry goes to see them.
He goes into Snape’s childhood and sees friendship with his mother and Harry finds out that his mother’s last name was Prince and he was a half-blood so Snape was the Half-Blood Prince.
The D.A. members are all caught and Neville (who had the idea of restarting it) was sentenced with having a body-bind curse on and wearing the (now burning) sorting hat. Neville breaks it and kills Nagini with Gryffindor’s sword.Voldemort says that he needs Harry Potter and Harry is (kind-of) killed and meets up with Sirius Black, his parents and Dumbledore who has a conversation with him about him and Voldemort. Harry is resurrected and tells him that he is the Elder wand’s (one of the Deathly Hallows) was actually his and Voldemort cast a killing curse which backfired of the wand’s real owner and killed Voldemort.
19 years later (at 2017), at King’s Cross station, Harry and Ginevra (Ginny) are married, as are Ron and Hermione and they are sending their children to Hogwarts and they spot Draco with his son, Scorpius.
I recommend this book because it is really exciting and full of cliff-hangers. I hope that you can also be surprise with the swear word.
