What Land Art Tells Me

Tonight I read an article about land art. I'd like share something with you.

What is a land art?It's also called environment art, which is special in it's materials and sitings. Materials vary from leaves to soil ,from water to rocks, from land to ice, in a word, all comes from nature. And the site for the land art is always distant from central points.

There are several different land artist who is famous in land art and I will introduce two as following.

NO.1 GOLDWORTHY

A veryrenownedBritish artist for his passion for nature and change.

His designs are so creative, we can see organized, colorfully radiating leaves, spiralling sticks, and mounds of thin rocks. 

Duringhis schooling, he understand the real canvas is deeply rooted in his ever-changing world around him . He said "Nature for me is not the bit that stops in the national parks.It's in a city, in a gallery, in a building. It's everywhere we are."

NO.2 Amador

an San Francisco artist for his temporary land art on sandy beaches.

His designs can be elaborate ,some spanning up to 100,000 square feet, and ephemeral ,some lasting only a few minutes before water reaches the shore.

He said "Don't feel panic for me for nothing can beheld on to in the life just as the art tells us".

I remember when I was a child ,there was a TV program call "Little Dragon" . This program showed a youngman makingland art utilizing everything from nature, and whenthe guyfinishedhis design there was an photo from a high angle, and at that time I understood what thepicturethe guy trying to create. I was deeply touched by the imagination and the creativeness from the young man, which I never thought before.

And however highly developed information today is ,creative idea is stillhard to find. Since we step forward into the mobile era, we pay more attention to the phone not everything around us.There was one guysaying "We take pictures of things that are important to us, but for some people, the food itself becomes central and the rest —— the venue, the company etc. ——is background" .

Lastly, I am happy and surprising to read this article tonightfor it giving me the inspiration and cheerfulness among daily busy affairs. I re-realize Art is everywhere if Ihave an eye for beauty and one heart for observation.
