Something about my 26
Hey, congratulations! Trans, now you make it to another new year, and you are going to enjoy your new adventure in your 27 year of life.
As far as I know,so many people died every second around the world, and a lot of people are suffering from all kinds of diseases, too. I sincerely noticed that life is so fragile, similar to a glass cup. That’s why I feel so blessed for each day I lived in this beautiful world. That’s why I have so much positive energy in my tiny brain and small body. It is gratefulness that makes me to work much harder and study harder to pay it back, to make every day counts, to make each minute worthwhile.
How time flies! It has been 4 years since I graduated from Jishou University; It has been 5 years since I entered in this competitive society; It has been 2 years since I got married......
For the past year, I want to say thanks to myself for the following 3 items.
First, Trans, thanks for your incredible persistence, you continue to bathe your feet almost every night , even in hot summer. I know it was hard especially after you worked for 11 hours, you just wanted to lie on sofa to sleep and do nothing. It was your persistence and strong view on health that enabled you to have a healthy 2019. We can not control our chronological age, but we can control our biological age with good habits, such as regular exercise, good eating habit, etc. We can control our psychological age by reading books and talking to wise people.
Second,Trans, thanks for your sincerity. It is really hard to be completely honest to your customers when you are a sales person. But you did a really good job, you did your best as you can. Surrounded by that kind of company culture which was full of lies, you were struggling each day, but luckily your soul didn’t get tainted in those 3 years. I feel so happy for you. It was your sincerity that made you get along well with your customers even when the projects did not go well as expected. There are so many different kinds of ways to do business, you chose the simplest way to do your job with full heart and be honest, meanwhile trying to serve customers well as best as you could.
Third, Trans, Thanks for your courage to make that hard decision. To leave Xinjin or not, you hesitated for almost 1 year, eventually, you made that hard call. And even though it meant you would suffer a big financial loss. You did it anyway. Because you knew for 100%, you didn’t want to work for a company whose value did not align with your own value. More importantly, you realized that though you could not retrieve the time you lost, you could earn money back with your efforts. It was hard, you nailed it, and you just kicked a fresh start. Wish you a prosperous year along with your persistent efforts!
Apart from the good items, I need to criticize you for the following 2 points.
First, you did not fulfill the to-do list you set at the beginning of 2019. You did not read the paper books as you planned. You only hit some E-books, not enough! Also, you did not do self-study on Japanese, and you broke that promise 2 times. On some day of November, it was the first time you had dinner with foreign friends including Japanese. Japanese is your second foreign language you studied in university, you could not even give a brief introduction in Japanese! What a shame! In 2020, hope you will have better performance!
Second, you are still so innocent, after all these 5 years’ working experience. You are always too kind to think for others’ interest instead your own. I do not blame for your kindness, but for being too kind to the wrong person. In the future, hope you will achieve more wisdom from all these terrible things you’ve experienced and make clear who is reliable!
Life is long and full of uncertainties, cherish what you have, and do what you like to do!
With persistent efforts, fight for better life for your family, yourself!
Let the past go and into the unknown with confidence!
Thanks for everything!
Wish you a prosperous 2020!
