Back at Beijing Airport, the concourse is full of arriving passengers and waiting families.

It is astonishing, isn’t it? The lengths people would go to be with their families at this time of year. A lot of people. I dont't think I'd ever seen so many people in my life. But what about Chinese family in the U.K.? for example, like your family, will you make a big effort to be together? We make an effort, but nothing on that kind of scale. Because we are in the UK, and there’s no holidays.

That of course you don’t get your 15 days off. No, we don’t. I tried but yet have to work … had a word, they are not buying it.

So, what do you do? I go home. And my parents cook a shed load of food and I eat it.
