Now is a good time

As God’s co-workers, we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. ---2Corinthians6:1

The grace you received yesterday is not fit for today. Grace is God’s abundant grace; you can get it anytime, anywhere. In many patience, tribulation, poverty and hardship, they are the trials of patience. Have you lost God’s grace in these things? Did you say, “no, not this time.” The problem is not to pray for God’s help, but to draw on God’s grace now. We tend to think of prayer as preparation for work, but in the bible, that’s not the case at all. Prayer is an exercise in drawing on God’s grace. Don’t say, “I’ll put up with it until the suffering is over and pray well.”

Pray now! Draw on God’s grace when you need it. Prayer is the most practical thing, not a reflex of piety. Prayer is the final lesson learned from God’s grace. Flogging, imprisoning, disrupting, laboring and all drawing on God’s grace will make you a miracle to others. Withdraw now, not later. One word in the spiritual vocabulary is now. No matter what the circumstances are, just continue to draw on God’s grace. One of the greatest testimonies of God’s grace that you can draw upon is that there is nothing but God’s grace when you are humiliated.

“Nothing…” There are no more reservations. Give the best of yourself. You are always poor. Never hoard God’s gift wisely, which is the triumph of poverty.

Dear God, grant your grace today- divine and powerful grace that many may glorify you through my service.
